Eamonn B. Shanahan is a professional director and visual artist of people and things, sharing stories and advocating the role of creativity in communities. He presents ideas that promote change and demystifies boundaries through his work in theatre. With a focus on creating unique and engaging experiences for audiences, Eamonn is dedicated to bringing stories to life on stage.
Through the lens, within and beyond the borders of the proscenium and expressed across the canvas, Eamonn B. Shanahan strives to capture with pride the stories and moments, portraits and places of our world and its many emotional constructs.
I am not surprised to see that Director Eamonn B. Shanahan has an MA in Creative Producing and Theatre Studies, such was the calibre of his vision for the aesthetic of the piece. The minimalism of the set was perfect, utilising sterile white against harsh steel to create a gripping performance space. I very much look forward to seeing what Eamonn B. Shanahan does next.
– Ciaran Mooney, AIMS reviewing BAD GIRLS, The Irish Premiere.
He is a dedicated and diligent producer, combining hard work with good humour and all necessary discretion. It’s been a huge pleasure working with Eamonn on the project.
– Martin Constantine, ENO Opera Works
Eamonn’s work is equivalent to professional practice at the forefront of its field
– Jessica Bowles, MA in Creative Producing/Theatre Studies, RCSSD, Feedback
Eamonn B. Shanahan’s Workspace is intense and claustrophobic ★★★★
